There's a lot of misinformation out there about what matchmakers really do. If you're asking “what is a matchmaker and why would you hire one?” you've landed on the right page.
I'm a Certified Matchmaker. That means I attended an accredited training course and successfully completed a program of study and tasks in order to become a matchmaker. I trained with one of the best providers in the world; The Matchmaking Institute, based in New York. They've trained hundreds of matchmakers around the world.
As a member of the Matchmaking Institute I'm bound by a code that ensures I behave in a way that is ethical and professional. As a result, my clients can be sure that they are being looked after by a professional.
As part of the certification program I trained with some of the worlds most successful matchmakers including Jason Silver (We Just Match), Lisa Clampitt (VIP Life) and Patti Stanger (The Millionaire Matchmaker) to name but a few.
So, What Is A Matchmaker And Why Would You Hire One?
A matchmaker is someone who will find a selection of suitable single people, who meet their clients criteria. The client is introduced to those single people in order to help them find a long-term loving relationship or marriage.
Matchmakers work on behalf of their clients. Matchmakers use a variety of methods to search for and select single people who might be a match for their client. This can include reviewing their database of singles who have completed a free registration via the matchmakers website. Most matchmakers will spend a good amount of time growing their database so that they have a large selection of eligible singles.
Many busy, successful professionals hire matchmakers. Some hire a matchmaker because they're too busy to do the searching themselves. Others might hire a matchmaker because they don't like online dating sites. The reasons for hiring a matchmaker are as varied as the clients themselves.
A matchmaker takes away all of the hard work. With a matchmaker you have no more guessing whether someone likes you or not, no more time consuming searching and no more wasted money on dates with singles you just aren't compatible with.
That's just a few of the reasons you should think about hiring a matchmaker.
Free Registration – What Does It Mean?
Most matchmakers offer Free Registration of some sort or other. Some matchmakers will offer Free Registration to ALL women. Those matchmakers only work with men, who pay the matchmakers fee, hence making it free for women to register. Other matchmakers offer Free Registration both men and women. This is how I work. I currently have both male and female clients (people who pay for my services as a professional matchmaker) looking for matches, so offering Free Registration to both sexes enables me to continue to build a great selection of eligible singles for my clients.
Free Registration is a great way for you to find love! It's not guaranteed that you'll be a match for a client, but it's a great place to start of you aren't sure if you want to go ahead and hire a matchmaker yourself. On my website I encourage single men and women to register for free. Once you've completed the short initial registration (I will walk you through this shortly) your private profile will be created. You'll then receive a link to your private profile with instructions on how to access it so that you can log in and update your details. You are encouraged to answer all of the questions in your private profile so that I can get a better understanding of who you are and the kind of person that you are looking for.
By registering your interest and fully updating your private profile you are increasing your chances of being selected as a potential match for one of my clients.
Here are the steps:
- Complete the short Free Registration (HERE)
- you will be asked for your name, email and a contact telephone number (I need these details to enable me to create your private profile).
- You will then receive an email with the link to your private profile.
- please access this within 7 days, add as much detail as you can and include photos (the more detail you include the more likely it is that you will be matched).
